About Joy’s Network

Kim and Joy Relay for Life 2009

Joy’s Network is a local NHALL Cancer Network born in loving memory of Joy (Diemond) Herrick who passed away on August 5, 2009 from Cholangiocarcinoma, a type of cancer that forms in the bile ducts. Her eldest daughter Kimberly founded the organization in January 2010 to help cancer patients and their families cope, thrive and heal.   It has been her mission to provide cancer-related resources and support to individuals and families in the Monadnock Region affected by all types of cancer.

Joy & daughtersKim engages in public education, awareness and advocacy activities regarding cancer and terminally ill related health issues and legislation. She raises money to help fund local and national research efforts regarding rare and deadly cancers, early detection, prevention and cure. Kim also assists similar organizations in their mission to provide financial, emotional and physical support to individuals and family members of those diagnosed with cancer.

Joy’s Network is run solely on volunteers from our community. Some are cancer survivors, some have lost a friend, family member, or colleague but they all have been touched in some way.  Kim honors her mother’s memory and her spirit lives on through the work that she does with Joy’s Network. With cancer prevalence in Cheshire County at a high rate of 454.7/100k (higher than the national rate of 436.4) there is a great need for support. We are always looking for more volunteers to join our team and sponsors.  For more info email us info@joysnetwork.com or call us at 603-762-1800.
